There are totally different types, styles, styles and variants of one-piece bathing suits like monokinis, string bodies, sling bikinis, and halter-necks. Most of them are modifications of the two-piece Bikini bathing suit that came out in the Forties. New styles of 1-piece bathing suits are still growing in popularity.
Possibly the most common type of 1-piece bathing suit is the tank suit. The term “tank” evolved from “swimming tank” – the recent name for swimming pool. Another standard one-piece bathing suit is that the sling bikini. It’s aspect straps that stretch upwards to cover ladies’s chests, which then stretch over their shoulders and reach down the rear to form a thong. The entire sides of the torso are revealed this means. So the sling bikini becomes a terribly convenient bathing suit by combining two parts (the top and the underside pieces) into one.
